Archive (Reminisce) Day

Day 1

• On Reminisce day, your personal Biographer arrives and walks you through the process of gathering your thoughts as well as what to expect on the day of filming.
• Your Biographer, with your help, will sort through photos, letters, documents, memorabilia…all
 the things that help tell your story in a beautiful and meaningful way, identifying those that will enhance your story the best.
• At this time, your Biographer carefully scans and digitally organizes your photos, and other meaningful documents right at a personal scanning station set up in the comfort of your home.
• During this process, your Biographer discovers your accomplishments, your passions, your hobbies, your talents; all those things that make up and help reveal the unique story of you. We take careful note of what is most important to you and your family.
• Essentially, Reminisce Day lives up to it’s name and is a guided walk down memory lane.
• This day typically runs between 4 and 6 hours.*

Interview (Sojourn)

Day 2

• Along with your Biographer, your complete film crew arrives. Always professional, our videographers take extra care to set up equipment in ways that best enhance you and your environment. You can expect cameras, lights, and a microphone.
• During this stage of set-up, your Biographer will again walk you through the types of questions you can expect and prepare you to leave your legacy
in your words.
• As filming begins, your Biographer will lead you through your interview. You will find that you will quickly forget the cameras as you are immersed in the journey.
• After your sit –down interview, your crew will take care to get additional footage that makes your documentary a beautiful one. From photos too large to scan, heirloom pieces, you interacting with your family, to participating in your favorite hobby… these are the scenes we are out to capture.

• This stage of filming is even more relaxed.
• By the end of your Sojourn day, your life will have been documented, interviewed and filmed in a remarkable and gratifying fashion.
• The process of completing your own personal documentary is now in the hands of our experts to be woven into a captivating heirloom to be treasured as it goes through the steps of editing, transcription, and design.
• This day typically runs 4 hours – 1⁄2 hour setup, 2 hour interview, 1 hour extra footage, 1⁄2 hour take down.*
